OK, so now I did a quickie test form and it all works perfectly ... and I did nothing more than create an ImageList, set the LargeImageList property and add Items to the Items collection. I would think that as long as your View property is LargeIcons (which seems to be the default) then it should be working ok. My guess is you've done something extra that's causing problems, but no clue as to what that might be (you could post some code maybe).
