VFP8 sp1

I have a requirement to have a check box in a grid that conditionally disables the check box. The only way I can see to do this is to use DynamicCurrentControl and have one checkbox disabled and the other enabled. This is working fine except the disabled check box will not center in the column. Any ideas how to fix this?
