VFP applications only use 16 base colours. If you're using an image control in VFP7 or below you can display 256 paletted colours. Other applications running on TS seem to use all 256 colours paletted (I run IE on my TS). It has something to do with a default palette of 16 colours and 240 (?) palettable colours. VFP does not use the latter (except for the image control again).

For this purpose I purchased a Leadtools imaging control to display images under TS with very good results.
