Hi Dennis

Yes you can dial up directly to a terminal server if you want to. You have a number of options available to you.

You could also use Citrix Server which enables dialup directly. It is better to go with emulation software though as you would have better utilisation of your WAN and you can also shadow other desktops for support. RAS is slow if your using a client and connecting over a 56K modem to a database.

The best option I would go for is create a VPN connection through your Internet Service Provider. You can then connect to your applications using TS. But then again I am security conscious.

If you do not prefer that you could connect directly to your server using Citrix dialup or RAS. You could RAS and connect using TS but again security!!

Citrix though you would have to purchase citrix server software and licenses. I think TS is free so I would go with the above.
