I agree. I had to re-read both of the articles multiple times because there is so much depth there.

There is certainly plenty to be gleaned from both of those articles -- not just how to use GDI+. In particular, Part 2 shows some new features of the Reporting System, such as Runtime Extensions and using ExecWhen in the XML to store a configuration item, that are not yet well-known. Heck, most of the reporting system changes are not yet well-known, since there are so many of them. :-)
