Hello All,

I have just installed Windows XP SP2 on a client's machine. It went well and then prompted for a reboot, which I obliged. What happened next is hell! This is a list of what happened after the reboot:

1. It took a long time! (even after the succeeding ones)
2. There are no icons found in the Network Connections folder
3. I cannot drag the icons found in the Desktop
4. The taskbar at the bottom does not display the open windows, therefore not allowing one to switch between windows.
5. The Windows hotkey in the keyboard does not work too.
6. The icons showing LAN connection disappeared on the system tray.

So, with all those above, I tried to uninstall SP2 via Add/Remove Programs. It did not allow it, saying something like a certain file cannot be found!

HELP! What happened???

TIA,

Dennis
