OK, now I don't get what the problem is ... I already stated that you can pass a parameter that is a text data type, so I guess I don't know what you're asking.

If you're having problems using that text parameter, then you can just create a table variable that contains a text column and insert the text parameter into that table. You know what? I think you need to post some T-SQL code that shows roughly what you're trying to do. Maybe then I can offer a more intelligent suggestion.
