Thanks for your response. I actually had not thought about this potential problem, maybe because I am a regular user of pcAnywhere. And you are correct...after a disconnection / reconnection, you can just resume where you left off. Since I prefer the pcAnywhere solution to begin with, you just gave me another justification. Thanks!

>Here is something to consider. If you are dialing in from another location with RAS what happens if the connection gets lost (phone noise or other things). With PCAnyWhere you could get re-connected and still be where you where at when the connection when down. I think you could get corrupted tables if the tableupdate() was stoped in the middle. (I think it would be like if you where running the app and just turned off the power) I don't know how the tableupdate works if it gets stoped in the middle of an update. We always recommend to use PCAnyWhere instead of RAS, unless they have a perment online connection then we write the code using Client-Server.
