To disagree with someone’s opinion is quite acceptable. To ask someone for evidence of a comprehensive survey of 50,000 VFP developers is infantile. David Stevenson correctly pointed out where latitude should be given but you chose to ignore the sage words. If Jim Nelson had started his post with “In my opinion” instead of “I have to say that” – I’m betting your response would have been pretty much the same i.e. puerile.
