Randy, you can do this if you want (use sql queries), just flatten the data out. Set the target alias to an expression evaluating to the alias of your SQL cursor. NBD.

Nobody is forcing you to relate the data if you don't like relationships.

However, REPORT FORM is a single command. It falls under the restrictions of all scoped commands in how it processes a scope. If you want to process scope in multiple workareas, relating the two workareas together is how you do it. So use SQL, avoid the "unintuitive, outmoded" approach of multiple workareas and the way they work together if you wish, or leverage relationships. Take your pick.

Actually, yes there is <s>.

But you can select all the objects in a band (if I remember correctly this has always been possible, shift doubleclick on the band separator), and in 9's Report Builder you can apply a Print When to all objects at the band at once, which amounts to the same thing.
