I've been asked to make a fixed-price bid for a small job. One of the job specs is that it will use the "MyFrame" framework, created by Ken Chazotte as implemented in his book:

IMO one important thing about using a framework is being able to get support, bug fixes, etc. The client is in the process of migrating Arago (dBASE IV - DOS compatible) apps to VFP and I don't know how much experience they have with either VFP in general or this framework in particular. Ken Chazotte appears to have Congressional aspirations (
http://kenforcongress.com/ ) although as a Libertarian, he may want to keep his day job ;-) Regardless of how the election goes, his priorities seem mixed.
