If I understand your post (the Knowledge Base aricle was very illuminating), there are things that the Outlook administrator can do to enable Outlook to send e-mails created via Automation without intervention from a user at a PC. It is very doubtful that my client can get the IT management to agree to this.
The natural time to send my e-mails is the middle of the night when the workstation is locked. There is no reason though that the e-mails cannot go out when the first users log in in the morning. Sounds like that is what will happen.
