I am using VFP8. I have a table with buffermodeoverride = 3 Optimistic row buffering.

I have updated one column with REPLACE command, and before TABLEUPDATE() command I would like to check the OLDVAL of this column. But the OLDVAL always return null value. I am sure that I have not moved the record pointer.

I am using TRANSACTION too.

What am I doing wrong?
