Usually, when I see that an icon of a specific type was something else that I wanted, I was simply right clicking the file, selecting the program I wish to have when I click on it and making it permanent so the next time, Windows will remember. Now, when I do this, the icon of the file doesn't change and it doesn't remember my setting.

Does it happen with all file extensions or only with specific once?
