Hi all,
i am trying to upsize my VFP6 database to an SQL Server 2000 database, but have had no luck so far. i have tried the conversion from VFP6, VFP8 and importing from SQL Server. the issues are as follows:

----- Upsizing Wizard from VFP (both version)
: Start up the wizard
: Select the database to upsize
: Select the Data Source as the local SQL Server
: Gives me a Can't Find ODBC driver error even though it is there in the Available Datasource list box

----- Import from SQL Server 2000
: Select Foxpro database to import using the Foxpro OLEDB driver
: Select where i want the database to be imported to
: Import process completes BUT with errors
: It seems that the errors are related to SQL Server converting the date fields in Foxpro to a SmallDate data type and give a data overflow error. when the Small date is changed through the tranform options in the import process the upload does import the information, but for empty date fields it puts in the value of 12:00am...?

and help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
