Hello Kevin,
I received the email from you asking to change the Assembly.cs file to include the TagPrefix line. I was wondering why you chose to use the same "mm" TagPrefix as is already used by the MM Framework Web Forms application?
I noticed, by checking the HTML, that Infragisitics uses unique TagPrefixs for each of it's dlls. e.g. igtbl, igtxt, igcmbo... I also noticed that if the MM Infragistics controls are added first, the mm TagPrefix is given to that assembly and mm1 is given to the MM Framework Web Controls. In some cases, I have noticed that the MM Framework will get the mm TagPrefix and then the MM Infragistics Web Controls gets cc1.
Would it be advantageous to apply a unique TagPrefix to each dll of Web Controls that are added to Mere Mortals?
e.g.
mm - Mere Mortals Framework Web Forms
mminf - Mere Mortals Framework Infragistics Web Controls
mmdev - Mere Mortals Framework Developer Express Web Controls
As an example, I have created a form with a mmUltraWebTab on it which will pull in several User Controls. Depending on the user control, I might have mm, mm1, or cc1 for the MM Infragistics Controls.
Just a thought... :-)
