I support a FPW2.6 application which has been running fine for a number of years. The programs, ESL and data reside on a server. The NT based workstations (approximately 10-15 simultaneous users) would map a drive to the server (call it the "Y" drive) and then invoke "Y:\folder\myprog.exe"
Now they have migrated everybody to an XP workstation. I tested all the functionality on an XP workstation and everything worked just fine. What we are experiencing is that after two or three hours online they would exit the program. The next time they log on, they are getting "Foxprow tried to execute an illegal instruction." When I saw it, that happened when it was trying to put a bitmap on the screen.
Any ideas on environment alterations, CONFIG.FPW settings, etc. will be MOST welcome.
Thanks to all.
