Word 2003, and I mean SLOW!

It's more than 30 seconds, even going from dir-to-dir!@

It's the same with or without A/V software running!@#@$!#@

Latest SP downloaded, to no avail@#!$@#!$

Anyone know of a fix for this?

Any help appreciated.
