I tried the COMMAND= CHDIR. Config file and the form1.method() syntax now works great!
I have two follow-on development questions, however, concerning the use and placement of config files. I noticed, I wouldn’t w/o your help, that VFP created a config.fpw file when I created my project. Narrative imbedded in this file indicates it should be added to my project. My questions are:
1. Does the “project” config file override the one in the c:\program files\vfp7 directory?
2. Is it good practice to include a config file? Now I have many of the initialization commands put in a “start” file which is the projects “set main”. Is this bad practice?
3. Where does the config file go in the project, in the “Text files”, in the “Other files” or somewhere else?
