Thank you for your reply. We finally found out that there was a lockscreen = .T. but not a matching lockscreen = .F.

It has been running great for over 8 years, but apparently the "right" set of circumstances must have occurred in the underlying table(s) that made the instantiation of the form skip the lockscreen = .F., therefore the empty form.

I plopped that code where I saw the debugger stop and all is well. The user is up and running, and I have the time to make sure the code is fixed correctly.
