A lot of UK employers are now beginning to reduce sick and holiday entitlement to new employees.

Some people think the UK economy should follow the American model (hire and fire, no benefits etc) to the European model. I think I'd favour the European.

People say the European economic model as in France and Germany isn't doing so well but it seems pretty prosperous whenever I go there.
