Claude,

with all due respect, why can't you give Ken some samples? I have read the whole thread, and your arguments reminds me of kindergarten:

"Mom, that guy is a bad guy!"
"But son, what has he done to you?"
"He's been bad!"
"Yes, but what did he do?"
"He was mean!"
"What do you mean by 'mean'?"
"He's bad and mean!"

I, and probably also Ken, feel just like mother. Please come up with some real life scenarios and problems.

>As specific as I can be, you should put those best examples in the documentation so developers have easy access to it. You could even call it a new feature to help sell the product...
>>From our survey, 20% of VFP developers use XML web services and VS .NET, and the use of ASP.NET with VFP is popular and increasing in usage. I've talked to many developers and companies over the past two years planning, using, and succeeding in these efforts. This mostly comes down to simply creating a VFP COM DLL and then calling it from a .NET language in ASP.NET, a WinForm, or a .NET business object. While you can and some people do call .NET components from VFP, that is not as popular of a strategy it seems. In any case, you and others can feel fee to point out what specific details are not described in existing online samples and whiteapapers on this subject to see how we can add more content online in this area. You have not been specific with any of your suggestions even though I've asked multiple times.
>>>Yes, maybe you're right. In your opinion, is it catching on? Are there some good examples of developers using it for real applications? Is it possible people aren't asking about it in support or complaining because they simply don't know enough about it?
