I've looked and searched and installed and tried about everything I can think of and maybe it's my configuration, but I am unable to find a way to get email from my webmail into anything on my local PC. We have a block on our Outlook that prevents setting up Accounts, so I was looking for other ways. This is a one time thing as I want to get the messages from one web mail account to another. The first host, where they reside now, does not allow forwarding of multiple messages and the second host, where they are going to, does not have a POP3 option to retrieve email. I thought I would find a way to read the email from the first account down to my PC, either into a program or a file, and then find a way to import into Outlook and then forward in batch to the second host. Since I couldn't use Outlook to do this - the block on setting up internet email accounts - I thought I would install Outlook Express, or Eudora, or Pagasus, or any number of utilities/readers to handle it. They either will not connect or not install. OE says that it will not install due to a newer version of IE already installed. Isn't OE a separate program? Either way, didn't work. Anyone know how I can verify that I have a connection then get the emails from the first host into the second? My PC at home is in the middle of an upgrade or I would just do it there with my local Outlook. It's probably simple, but I'm not getting there.
