OK, that's the quantitative, now for some qualification... ;)

A considerable % of FoxPro positions I've seen over the last two years are due to the following:

- Company 'ABC' has a VFP product/vertical market app
- Company wants to move to new technology (.NET,Java) for variety of reasons (technical/marketing-competition)
- Company puts together a new technology plan and team
- Because new plan will need 6-12 months (or more) to execute, company must continue to maintain/enhance existing application (meet user needs, honor sales committments, meet competition, etc.)
- At least some of existing staff is moved over to the 'new team', creating a need for one or more VFP developers to step in and maintain existing app (creating the 'moving target' syndrome which occurs on most new development projects)

Not saying ALL scenarios fall into this, though that's the most consistent pattern I've seen - much more so than VFP positions for 'new' development.
