Okay, Richard
I have seen the written doc like you (I believe) are talking about in the book: The Visual FoxPro Report Writer: Pushing it to the Limit and Beyond by Cathy Pountney and published by Hentzenwerke Publishing.
Beth
>Beth,
>Thank you, that helps... but there's still a lot that those reports don't document.
>For instance, It confirms that Mode handles the setting for Transparent and Opaque, but it doesn't say what value represents Transparent and what value represents Opaque.
>It also doesn't tell me how those fields behaviors change depending on the content of the record... Somewhere I saw a document that said
>if ObjType=N then the following fields behave THIS way
>but
>if ObjType=X then the following fields behave THAT way
>Also,
>I assume that the position of the record matters too.
>I know the first record has to be first and the group records come next and certain others come last.... but what about the order of all the rest that go in the middle?
>I think that has something to do with the layering of the objects... what's in front (or behind) what...
>
>Do you know where I can get some of this information?

>>>I used to have a document that explained the meanings of the various fields found in a report. I'm refering to the .FRX file (a .dbf by another name).
>>>
>>>For instance, I think it's the "node" field which contains the setting for Transparent and Opaque.
>>>
>>>Does anyone here have a document or a link or ???
>>>that explains the various fields and their interactions with each other?
>>>
>>>Thank you,
>>>Rick
