OK...I have read enough...
Claude, do you not understand the single most basic point....MS does not market Fox? And...asuming MS did market Fox, product documentation is not the proper vehicle to market.
I have read this thread and your points. Quite frankley, you have me non-plussed. There are tons of resources available for the Fox Developer re: com/interop, xml, etc. Why you are stuck on having it part of the documentation is something I cannot figure out. Further, I do not understand why you are bothing to engage Ken in a discussion of why additional resources should be put into the documentation when:
1. The resources are already available
2. Documentation is not the way to market a product and
3. MS does not market Fox
What is perhaps more amazing is that Ken is expending the effort he has in this discussion.
To sum up, the chronology goes like this:
1. You want resources on com/interop and web services.
2. You have been directed to on line resources.
3. You claim those resources are not sufficient as they are not part of the docs.
4. You state that the available resouces don't meet your needs
5. You have been asked for specifics on your situation
6. You fail to provide specifics
What exactly is your beef?
I understand the frustrations people deal with re: Fox, its marketing, or lack thereof, its position in the computing world, MS, etc. That said, if you are going to bitch - you need to come to the table with a cogent argument. And...when asked to justify, clarify, etc. - you need to do it. Otherwise, you need to pipe down and re-group.
