>I have been given the task of supporting a new production system which is built upon Visual FoxPro 8.0 and C++. I have been looking for books which address the beginning FoxPro student. Most require some amount of understanding of previous versions. Others seem to be geared solely for the FoxPro programmer. What I need help with is finding a series which teaches me the beginning concepts of FoxPro, database construction within FoxPro, report writing, and then on to the programming skill set. Any direction would be greatly appreciated and hopefully I can return the favor of helping another FoxPro newbie in the future.

185718I believe Hentzenwerke has a large discount this week if you want to order several books and are prepared to move fast.
In addition you can consider training CDs/tutorials/"boot camp" courses.
Finally, I don't know how much searching you can do with a Basic UT membership. Being able to search extensively and link directly to results is a major benefit of a paid UT subscription. This could be considered an important learning tool in its own right.
