Stephen;
I do not know of a concise list as you have requested. C5 errors remind me of a finger-pointing contest. In this case you blame the operating system, hardware, drivers, interaction with other applications, incompatibilities of any sort and whatever else fits.
Answer these questions:
1. What version of VFP are you using?
2. What service pack do you have installed?
3. What operating system is in use (there could be several – list each one if applicable)
4. What hardware is in use? What drivers are installed?
5. Is the latest VFP library in use at each client site?
There is no silver bullet that I am aware of to solve C5 problems. As I recall VFP 6.0 was not stable until SP3 was released. Sometimes the manufacturers driver is best and other times the Windows driver must be used.
The real problem imo is that C5 errors can occur with one in one hundred installations, and there may not be a solution. At such a point you have to “suggest” your client change something – not fun to do! You must isolate the problem as it could even be the BIOS of the computer that is at fault.
You have to be like Sherlock Holmes when it comes to solving these types of problems! :)

>I have randomly in the past had my application generate C0005 errors. I have posted many threads and have seen many threads on this issue, but have never really gotten a solid answer on what causes this problem. I have seen many solutions reagarding printer or video drivers causing this problem but don't know which drivers to look out for. Does anyone know where I can get a list of these drivers or a list of drivers to use that will solve the problem ?
