Thanks for the replies. I've been doing more testing and found that one of the reasons that navigation in the grid is slow when status is "R" it's b/c there's only 8 records status = "R". If I increase the number that have status "R" to let's say 10,000 then it's as fast as it's when it's status = "I", so basically the more records fall into that filter the faster it is. Why is that so, I don't know. If anybody wishes to comment on this :).
