Ray,
If you want to 'disable' the screen saver (remove it from the system setup), you could change the registry setting for the timeout via Win32API. When the messagebox returns to VFP, reset this timeout setting. I don't know whether this will work if the screen saver is active when the setting is changed. Worth a try though.
