Thanks for the help, Cindy. The things at that site are more about how to protect you privacy.

What Ihave found is that whenever the Windows explorer is running, my machine does a lot of acces to the disk and periodically phones home. Not a good sign. Wonder how to do a fresh reinstall the Win Explorer. Will ask in the Windows section here.
