Hi Javier

>First time I hear from an accounting system in which accounts does not have structured numbers. It must be a nigthmare to maintain.

Not much of a problem, atleast we are used to it, but the trend here is codeless and if you have codes your application is dated. Thus this TV approach they can see what their final balance sheet will look like and I don't allow new root nodes only 3, Trading/Manufacturing, Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet. Each of them have Debit and Credit nodes. All records created by the users are children of these (1+2)+)1+2)+(1+2) main nodes

Our Accounting software market IMO is worthy of PHD research, every guy who comes out of IT school wants to develop and develop an accounting package <g>. Then they, after spending all the time, will sell it for selling sake, free or almost, if required, just to say I have clients <g>.
Regards
Bhavbhuti
