In McAfee, there is a place for scanning Outbound e-mail messages. However, there is no option to turn visual notification off. I guess the upgrade to XP Pro SP2 turn it on by default as this was off before. I noticed the SP2 did an update to McAfee as well. So, it is since then I have this behavior. I guess I would have to contact McAfee directly to see if we can have this visual effect off.
