That's not the issue. The fact is that Steve specifically requested that, until the details were finalized, that the message and contents should not be made public. He merely wanted to let a few personal friends know in advance.

As one of the privileged people who received the original E-Mail I would not dream of ignoring such a request.

The decision about to whom, and when, to make such an announcement is Steve's and Steve's alone. It is not up to some (expletive deleted) idiot to make that decision for him!

I only hope that this has not destroyed Steve's credibility or integrity with the people for whom, for all we know, he may still be working on a probationary basis only!
