This message has been marked as the solution to the initial question of the thread.
It's --

CURSORSETPROP('buffering', 1, lcAlias)

1 is none. Setting the buffer mode to 0 is only allowed in the DE.

>I have one situation that I need to update a table with buffermode = 5 (optimitisc table buffer), but sometimes a I need to do ZAP in this table. So, in this case I need to change do buffer mode to 0 (none). When I change the buffer mode property I receive a messsage number 1739. "Property setting will not take effect until data environment reloaded".
