I am starting a new Mapping Interface project for Deliveries.

Have decided on MapPoint 2004 as the Mapping Engine, but I am wondering whether I need to get the new MapLinx Pro Add-On product or just the MapPoint 2004 by itself ?

I underatand MapPoint installs it's own ActiveX and I have seen a URL for some sample vfp code.

But I don't know if anybody here has had any experience with the MapLinx Pro add-on and whether it is worth the $195.

It claims it does OLE and ODBE and can read native VFP tables, but it maybe an overkill. I just want to pass-on Delivery Addressed for Mapping.

Any comments would be very much appreciated.
