My SQL Server has SQL Server and Windows selected, pretty much as you said that it should.

However, when I look at the Edit SQL Server Registration Properties, "Use Windows Authentication" is selected. I realize that I need to change it to "Use SQL Server Authentication". But when I do that and then enter User Name and Password, I get error:
SQL Server Registration Failed because of the connection failure displayed below. Do you wish to modify anyway?
If I say yes, I still get error trying to connect to the server. So I have to go back and change it to use "Use Windows Authentication".

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
