Because developers that were not exposed to VFP seeing that mention will probably ask questions. The next step would be proper marketing.
So the mentions of VFP (shame on whoever had that idea) opens the door to a lot of problems for those who are trying to hide the Fox.
It's like those tv commercials telling that a product is coming soon but don't say a thing about the product until a couple of weeks or months...
As consumers we're inrigued by these products.
