First, see my response to you over on the VFP forum.

1. CoDe ain't a vfp rag anymore [pull the other one, ah?]

CoDe was never a 'VFP rag'. Before covering .NET heavily in 2001, CoDe covered SQL Server, XML, Web services, (and yes VFP). I've subscribed to it, either directly or through an employer, since the beginning - and I've never found it to be a rag.

2. I did apologize to you re: the sabre stuff - did you catch that?

Don't knock yourself out. You simply retrieved the messages that I had not specifically responded to, and tried to cover up your threatening posts with an apology that was lame and hollow. All you did was take advantage of a loophole in the UT system. Those familiar with the entire story know better.

3. the PA contingent of you and yours, moving on to da DOT NET world, and claiming it's the 'Do All, Be All, End All', in the UT in a VFP forum, will always chap my left backside.

You've proven a point that John has made, that I've made, and that others have made - that your reactions regarding one tool vs another are based largely on emotion. It seems the legitimacy of .NET in your mind is dictated by/tethered to personal effrontery. The strong emotional reactions by you and some others do not negate the legitimacy and value of the tool.
