In one table in my database, the rule trigger calls a stored procedure in the database. This work fine when running from VFP.

If I'm connecting from another application to my table via VFP 5.0 ODBC and I try to insert a record, I get an error like "VFP cannot process the code in the rule trigger" (I don't remember the actual message).

Can a stored procedure be executed when loggin via ODBC or only from a VFP application?
