Where is your "main BO"? Have you put this on this new modal form? I suspect not. Because the view is not the primary data access object you will not be able to write to the data behind this second view. You say you want to use the form as a lookup so that might not be a problem.

Forms need to have a BO in order to access their data - unless they are operating on the model of the cListObjEditForm object.

What's the fuss about creating another Business Object?
