I need to know how to change the drive letter of the primary boot drive.
Using WinXP Pro.

The problem is this. The hard drive crashed. When replaced with a new drive,
it is showing up as drive E:.

The 3" drive is C:, the CD is D:, and the Hard Drive comes in as E:.

I'v tried removing the CMOS battery, and all drives, and rebooting, no
help.

The Change Drive Letter dialog won't let me change it because it's the
boot drive.

Anyone know how to solve this?
