It worked the first time.
When I looked at the text file on my desktop however, it was an HTML file and not the text file.
When I went to the website the correct text file was there, but I had received a "security alert" while getting into the website.
Something about the security certificate has expired.
I'll check with the web hosting people tomorrow.
Don't think it has anything to do with your routine.
Not sure why I didn't get a "URL cannot be opened" or some other error message.
