>In my VFP8 application I have a command which adds a picture to a general field. The command is APPEND GENERAL MyFile.MyGenField FROM MyFile.jpg. When I run it from my machine and then open the general field, I see the picture. But when another user runs the same application from her machine, only the file name appears in the general field. We both see the picture in the field I entered and the file name in the one she entered. Why does it seem that the APPEND GENERAL command is behaving differently on different machines?

Perhaps the associated application is not found?

I suggest you leave the picture as a JPG-file, and don't use general fields.
