I use VFP 6.0. My Detail Band - Constant Bank Heighth is not checked. In a simple example. I have the following as the last line of the detail. In the Memo_label1 I have Object Position - Float; Print Only when expression is true = !empty(alltrim(memo1_field)); Remove Line If Blank is checked. I have the same Object Position, Print Only, and Remove Line for Memo1_field. But the extra blank line is always printed.

>Make sure the detail band is not marked as a fixed height. Other than that, setting the Print When and Remove Line When blank on all items in the detail band should be enough to tell the report writer NOT to use up the space for this record.
