Hi All,

I know that I'm sending a single CHR(06) and I've even set OutBufferCount to 0 before sending the single character.

Yet, when it arrives at the other end I'm getting 2 bytes as the content, a NUL followed by my ACK!!???

This does NOT happen all the time. In fact, it seems to happen only on the first receive and then imtermittently after that.

Is there some logic behind this that I can code for? So far I've coded to look for a length of 2 with exact content CHR(0) and CHR(06) but this is obviously stop-gap.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks
