"No matter what" is not true in my case, for reasons unknown - thus this thread. It seems Gerard in this thread noted he had the same problem.

Some objects have a Print When, others don't. When I was logging to the external text file, I added a field with a simple UDF function call that passes some string to record in the log file, and displays the invoice number in the report. This function has no Print When condition:

IIF( LogTest( "Page Footer - " + sjid ), sjid, "" )

I put an object like this in each band, and it produced the log output I showed in earlier message, with the exception of the Page Footer on Page 3. Carefully note the log: the Page Footer OnEntry and OnExit DO fire, but NO objects in the band get processed.
