>I heard/read/misinterpreted somewhere that Houston actually gets more tornados than anyone. We don't get the monsters that form on the Plains, just bunches of little ones, big enough to peel open a trailer home or toss the cow over the fence. MOOOooooOOOOooooOOOOO....Peel open a trailer home? You don't need a tornado for that! A slight wind will do.
Anyway, South/Central Florida got bypassed by Ivan. As of this writing is going through the Gulf to someplace between New Orleans and Pensacola. It is scary mostly for New Orleans ue to their geography, Lake Ponchartrain and them being mostly below sea level .NOLA could become part of the Lake for months! Not funny.
PS: Let's not forget hurricane season does not end till December 1st!
