Yes, I've seen those links.
In fact, we got a strong (wet) band coming here (Miami) this morning, even though the center is very far away inth Gulf of mexico. You can see that in the pictures/map as of this moment.

A motorcycle, as was suggested is an approximation. The differerence is that it is sustained, you cant slow it down, all of it moves at the speed, becoming projectiles. You couldn't stand straight (or stand at all on that wind). It moves cars, buses, boats...
