Products that don't make $ AND - are not a strategic player - get dropped. Remember, there is no market to cultivate - so any loss-leader argument is inapplicable.

Don't know. But given that they contribute to and are part of the strategic focus of the company AND - given that MS is profitable, it is a moot point.
